film Guilin - the scenery legends are made of

Guilin (and nearby Yangshuo) is arguably the most famous place in China for its landscapes. With incredible mountain scenery, it is hard for a visitor to not feel that they are standing in an ancient Chinese watercolor painting. Definitely a different atmosphere than Yunnan, as Guangxi lies closer to Southeast Asia thus giving one the feeling that they are in Vietnam or Cambodia. For those of us who reside in Taiwan, you will also notice that greater presence of Taiwanese businesses and culture (if one considers Pearl Milk Tea as culture, that is).

DragonAir (Gang Long Hang Kong) was the airline that got us from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong. Good food and great service.
