After an hour drive through the second-longest tunnel in East Asia, Hsuehshan Tunnel, and a journey through rice fields to find this hidden-away French restaurant, we passed a electric company work crew near the restaurant on the way. Sure enough, we get to the eatery only to be told by a young waiter, "Uh, we just lost power due to a work crew mishap...we may not be able to serve you today". Fortunately, power got back up in 10-15 minutes.
